Our expectations

As a member, you need to:

  • be courteous to fellow users

  • present your membership token upon request

  • wear appropriate workout clothing or swimwear at all times

  • wear closed-in shoes at all times when in the gym

  • put away your weights after use

  • carry a sweat towel with you at all times and clean gym equipment after use

  • limit your use of the cardio equipment to 20 minutes during peak times

  • be aware that children under 15 should not be in the gym.

Group fitness booking terms

These terms apply to group fitness bookings and attendance.

    • All group fitness classes must be booked in advance.  

    • Members can book classes 8 days in advance.

    • Members can book up to 8 classes per week.  

    • A maximum of 3 classes per modality applies within this limit.  

    • Bookings include waitlisted classes.  

    • If space is available at the start of the class, additional participants may be able to join.

    • If a class is full, you can join the waitlist.

    • If a space becomes available, confirm your place within the allocated time.

    • You can confirm by responding to the text message or through the ClubActive app.

    • If no response is received, the space may be offered to another participant.

    • A standby option may be available for members on-site.

    • Booking limits apply to all classes.

    • Arrive before your class start time to check in.

    • If you arrive late, see reception to check availability.

    • If you are not checked in, your booking may be released to another participant.

    • Classes start at the scheduled time.

    • If you cannot attend, cancel your booking in advance.

    • If you miss a class without cancelling, it will be recorded as a no-show.

    • Repeated no-shows may affect your ability to book classes.

    • The instructor manages each class session.  

    • Entry to the studio may be restricted until the instructor is present. This may vary by location.  

    • Check with your facility for specific access arrangements.  

    • Group fitness classes are included as part of a ClubActive membership.  

    • ClubActive does not provide or store mats for classes.
